Casino Dice Calculator: Win Chance, Multiplier and Virtual Rolls

Set a win chance and roll over or under to see how probability maps to gross multiplier at 99% model RTP. Previous rolls do not change the next outcome.

How it works & examples

Understand the calculation

Dice win chance, payout and expected return

The Dice simulator lets you trade win frequency for payout size. In the 99% model, a 50% win chance corresponds to a gross multiplier of 1.98. With a stake of 10 credits, a winning roll returns 19.8 credits, a net gain of 9.8; a losing roll loses 10. The expected gross return is 0.50 × 19.8 = 9.9 credits.

A probability calculation cannot establish whether a past casino roll was generated correctly; verify published seeds with Provably Fair Verifier for Revealed Seeds.

Changing roll-under to roll-over selects the winning side of the threshold. Check the displayed chance rather than interpreting the threshold as a prediction. Earlier rolls do not make the next roll due to win. The simulated balance keeps fractional payouts internally, so rounding the display does not turn a small stake into an artificial positive-return strategy.

Play with virtual credits

Choose a win probability, roll over or under, and see the 99% model gross multiplier, house edge, payout and virtual balance after each independent roll.

Model assumptions: No. Virtual games use declared teaching models. Verify any actual operator’s payout rules independently.

How to use the tool

Test a casino-style 0–99.99 Dice roll rather than tabletop dice with numbered faces.

  1. Set the win-chance percentage and choose roll over or roll under.
  2. Make one virtual roll at a time or inspect an independent sample.
  3. Compare the gross multiplier with the theoretical return of the chosen model.

Understanding your result

At a 40% chance to win, a synthetic RTP of 99% gives a gross multiplier of 0.99/0.40 = 2.475×. A win at that multiplier includes the original stake.

Scope and limitations

This page does not calculate odds for 2d6, Dungeons & Dragons or board-game dice. Casino-style roll distributions and payouts vary by operator.

Before you rely on the result

Casino Dice odds: win chance, multiplier and house edge

Casino Dice here means a uniform 0.00–99.99 roll with a chosen win probability, not two physical six-sided dice. Pick a win chance and choose roll-under or roll-over; the threshold changes, but equal win chances have the same probability and payout mathematics.

At 99% model RTP, gross multiplier = 0.99 / win probability. The multiplier includes the returned virtual stake, so net profit on a winning 10-credit bet at 2.00× is 10 credits, not 20.

How win chance changes the gross multiplier

The payout falls as the selected win chance rises. That is the pricing relationship that keeps expected return at 99% in this model.

Roll-under and roll-over are symmetric

If the selected win chance is 40%, “under” and “over” describe opposite threshold zones of equal size. Neither direction has an intrinsic mathematical advantage when the same probability and multiplier are used. The choice only changes which numerical results count as wins.

Reading a short Dice history

Five wins in ten rolls does not prove the game is paying 50% long term, and five losses do not make the next roll more likely to win. The history is a sample of independent outcomes. Use the theoretical probability for the model and treat the observed win rate as noisy until the sample is very large.

Worked example

At a 40% win chance, a model with 99% RTP pays 0.99 / 0.40 = 2.475x gross on a win. The expected gross return on a one-credit wager is 0.99 credits over many independent rounds.

Can previous dice rolls improve the next prediction?

No. Each model roll is independently generated; earlier results do not change the chosen win probability.

Questions about this calculation

Is roll over more likely than roll under?

Not when the same win chance is selected: the two thresholds are symmetric in the uniform model.

Can I derive tomorrow’s roll from the history?

No. Each browser-generated roll is independent; streaks are not a forecasting signal.

How should I read the result from Casino Dice Simulator: Choose Your Win Chance?

At a 40% chance to win, a synthetic RTP of 99% gives a gross multiplier of 0.99/0.40 = 2.475×. A win at that multiplier includes the original stake.
